Tom Fletcher and WHSmith launch exclusive Christmasaurus toy and book

To celebrate Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, WHSmith has teamed up with leading children’s author Tom Fletcher to launch the first ever Christmasaurus cuddly toy, based on Tom’s bestselling book The Christmasaurus. Together they aim to raise £50,000 to support Save the Children’s vital work.

Tom recently visited our education programmes in Rwanda which use innovative approaches to support children’s literacy development and reading, as well as teaching children about their rights.

Now available nationwide in WHSmith stores and online, this festive friend will be sold for £14.99 with a 20% (£3) donation to Save the Children. And a limited edition of The Christmasaurus book will also be sold exclusively in WHSmith to support Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, which is being cold for £6.99 with a 50p donation to our vital work.

By purchasing The Christmasaurus toy and book, you’ll help Save the Children build a better future for children in the UK and around the world.

With so many of you taking part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day 2018, we must urge you to take care with your festive knits. PLEASE WEAR RESPONSIBLY.

* Dentists are reminded that jumpers with protruding carrots are not appropriate attire when working with patients. Office workers are urged to take care when wearing tinsel doused jumpers by the shredder and spin instructors, hot yoga teachers and chefs are advised that woolly knits can lead to excessive perspiration.

So, with the ‘elf and safety warning out the way, let’s make Friday 14 December the biggest, woolliest, most generous day of the year. If you haven’t already sign up now to join the festive fun.
